Raditz, wearing Saiyan armor, is a character from the Dragon Ball franchise. He is Goku's older brother and a Saiyan warrior.

Raditz makes his first appearance in the anime series Dragon Ball Z, specifically in the first episode of the series.

He arrives on Earth seeking to recruit Goku, revealing Goku's Saiyan heritage and his original name, Kakarot. Raditz possesses considerable strength, surpassing that of Goku and Piccolo at the time of his arrival. He is ultimately defeated in a joint effort by Goku and Piccolo, at the cost of Goku's life.
